    As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems. Your expertise in PostgreSQL and MongoDB will be instrumental in optimizing database performance, ensuring data security, and supporting application development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Developed and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and queries in PostgreSQL and MongoDB environments.
    • Optimize database performance through query optimization, indexing strategies, and database tuning.
    • Collaborate with software developers and engineers to integrate databases with applications.
    • Implement and manage data replication, backup, and recovery strategies.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues to ensure system stability and reliability.
    • Develop and maintain documentation regarding database design, architecture, and procedures.
    • Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.

    Required Experience and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 5-7 years of professional experience working as a database developer or in a similar role.
    • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including database design, query optimization, and administration.
    • Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, and replication techniques.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and database management tasks.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certifications in PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
    • Experience with other databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
    • Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (AWS Aurora, Azure Cosmos DB, etc.).
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for database automation and CI/CD pipelines.

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to travel to office-site 2-3 days weekly.
    • Dedicated remote workspace.
    • Ability to work in virtual teams.
