    Description

    Role :
    Lead Cognos Data Engineer


    Must-Have :

    • 8+ yrs of experience in Cognos Tools such as Cognos BI Framework manager, Analysis Studio, Report studio, Event Studio, Query studio etc.
    • Experience in Design and development of enterprisewide data analysis and reporting solutions with Cognos , Cognos10.2 repor studio and query studio etc.
    • Excellent Knowledge in Data Warehousing Concepts.
    • Good analytical and logical skills in writing SQLs and knowledge of Different DBs (Oracle, SqlServer, Snowflake)
    • Excellent communication skills, ability to represent him / herself in daily stand up calls with customer
    • Document functional and technical requirements for the metadata layer and the BI reports

    Good to Have :

    • Knowledge/Experience of Looker (business intelligence software and big data analytics platform) will be an added advantage.

    Role & Responsibilities :

    • Working with business users to design and develop Cognos BI reports using Report Studio with data drilldown and sliceanddice options.
    • Guide team technically on various aspects of project development
    • Be accountable for the delivery of the project in the defined timelines with good quality.
    • Should be comfortable travel to Chennai, Bangalore, and Pune as and when required.
