    Job Description:


    As a Maintenance Technician at Laxmi Electronics, you will be responsible for performing preventive and breakdown maintenance on molding machines and various plant equipment.

    You will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our production processes.

    The role will involve working with a variety of equipment, including DG sets, compressors, chillers, cranes, pump houses, cooling towers, and other essential machinery.


    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on molding machines and plant equipment according to established schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, performing repairs promptly to minimize production disruptions.
    • Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules.
    • Perform routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.
    • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure spare parts and materials as needed for maintenance activities.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
    • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of machinery and equipment as required.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in equipment maintenance to continuously improve maintenance processes and efficiency.
    • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge related to equipment maintenance.

    Requirements

    Requirements:


    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
    • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of molding machines and plant equipment, with a focus on preventive maintenance practices.
    • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions effectively.
    • Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment used in maintenance activities.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Flexibility to work on rotating shifts and weekends as needed to support production schedules.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to equipment maintenance.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
