    Description

    KEY ACTIVITIES

    • and Provide the technical and functional resolutions to issues reported in daily batch, etl and data refresh and data migration jobs.
    • timely refresh of ETL jobs, Datawarehouse cubes, data marts, etc.
    • interact and follow up with customers for issues pertaining to file processing, data quality, data refresh.
    • on automation of manual activities related ETL, DWH jobs and processes
    • on 24*7 environment to support retailers across globe
    • problem escalations, act as a liaison between customers and R&D Data Arch teams.
    • will also assist for the customer during production /patch installations.
    • have continuous communication with the customer and keeping them updated for the case progress via the Jira, Azure DevOps.
    • responsible for the customer request from the initial phase - up to its effective solution & escalating the information to the internal services (studies, production, quality etc.) to improve the product quality and the customer satisfaction.

    YOUR PROFILE:

    3-5 years of experience supporting applications in MPP Databases, ETL, SQL Server, Shell Scripting and Azure. Good hands-on knowledge on SQL and Shell Scripting. Experience on Retail domain and EDWH will be added advantage.

    Must Have Skills

    • Hands on Knowledge on SQL, shell scripting
    • Working knowledge supporting MPP Database, SQL Server
    • Previous experience in Data Ops role managing production support forData Integration and ETL.
    • Good Knowledge of ETL processing and scheduling, dimensional modelling etc.
    • Proficient in Data Ops or DevOPs methodology of support.
    • Previous experience on E2E job automation.
    • Working knowledge of Linux, Windows server machines,
    • Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment.
    • Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of software problems
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to handle clients professionally during all interfaces
    • Management of priorities and of the implementation of appropriate solutions

    Nice to Have:

    • Azure Cloud including ADF, Azure Devops, SQL Server, SSIS
    • Strong technical and analytical skills.
    • Strong understanding of retail business –Datawarehouse maintenance and operations will be added advantage
    • Experience in Talend ETL and Python
    • Any additional ETL tool or programming language
