The company is building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry, which will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU), and high-performance computing logic.

Job Overview

The Project Construction Program Manager will oversee and manage all construction activities for an OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) project.

This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and collaboration skills to align construction efforts with overall project goals and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Program and Construction Management

Lead the overall construction program for the OSAT project, ensuring all phases are executed efficiently and meet quality standards.

Develop and implement detailed construction schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies.

Monitor project progress, addressing any deviations in scope, schedule, or budget to keep the project on track.

Contractor Coordination and Supervision

Manage and coordinate activities of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.

Conduct regular site meetings to review progress, address issues, and provide clear direction to contractors.

Ensure all contractor deliverables align with contractual agreements and industry standards.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, design consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Facilitate regular updates and presentations to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable insights on project status.

Address client concerns and incorporate feedback into project execution plans.

Risk Management and Problem-Solving

Identify potential risks or challenges in construction activities and develop proactive mitigation strategies.

Resolve conflicts or issues that arise during construction, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.

Conduct root cause analysis for any significant delays or incidents and implement corrective measures.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and project-specific standards.

Oversee quality control processes, conducting regular site inspections to verify adherence to design and construction specifications.

Ensure proper documentation of construction activities, including change orders, inspections, and approvals.

Budget and Resource Management

Monitor construction budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining project quality.

Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Optimize the use of manpower, machinery, and materials to minimize waste and enhance productivity.

Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Oversight

Promote a culture of safety by enforcing strict adherence to HSE standards on the construction site.

Conduct safety audits and training sessions to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.

Address environmental concerns and ensure compliance with sustainability practices.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Advanced certifications in construction management or project management are preferred.

Skills and Competencies

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and scheduling.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and construction software.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical skills for budget tracking, risk assessment, and problem-solving.

Certifications (Preferred)

PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.

LEED AP or similar certification for sustainability practices.

OSHA or similar safety certifications.
