    Job Title/Designation: Assistant Professor

    Assistant Professors required in following areas of Faculty of Agriculture Sciences:

    • Agronomy

    Key Responsibility Areas :

    • Conduct research in related disciplines and publish in peer-reviewed journals and/or conference proceedings.
    • Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in related disciplines
    • Advise graduate students in course selection, and mentor graduate students in research, participation in professional improvement efforts, and an appropriate level of service to the program, college, university, and discipline is expected.
    • Assist and leads in the development and implementation of events and programs for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community.
    • Establish a strong publication record and attract extramural funding.
    • Establish new classes as necessary in their discipline.
    • Travel off campus to fulfil public relations responsibilities.
    • Work outside of traditional work hours for evening orientations, alumni chapter events, community education, etc.
    • Meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service.

    Entomology:

    • Candidate must know the fundamental of entomology and insect management with required UGC Qualification for Assistant Professor.

    Horticulture:

    • Candidate must know the principles and management of vegetable crops with required UGC Qualification for Assistant Professor.

    Qualification: Ph.D./ Master's degree with First class, Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate branch of Agriculture, with an exemplary academic record throughout.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3 Years of Experience

    Candidate Profile:

    • Faculty who can successfully execute R&D and consulting projects will be given preference will be considered.
    • Faculty who can promote patents, Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), Innovative, Industry Interaction, and other value-added courses will be preferred.
