    Summary/Objective:

    Play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This position will be responsible for understanding and documenting business requirements, coordinating with BI developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality reports and dashboards in Power BI and SSRS. This will be an individual contributor role that mandates effective communication with stakeholders, conducting training sessions, ensuring that the BI solutions align with business objectives, and providing actionable insights to business users.

    1. Requirement Gathering:

    • Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting needs and translate them into clear and concise requirements.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to identify key metrics, KPIs, and data sources necessary for effective reporting.

    2. Documentation:

    • Create detailed and comprehensive documentation for business requirements, ensuring clarity and traceability.
    • Document data definitions, data lineage, and business rules to support report development.

    3. Stakeholder Communication:

    • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with business stakeholders to keep them informed about project progress, changes, and updates.
    • Conduct regular meetings to gather feedback and refine requirements as needed.

    4. Report Development Coordination:

    • Collaborate with BI developers to prioritize and plan report development activities.
    • Coordinate the work of BI developers, ensuring alignment with business priorities and deadlines.

    5. Testing:

    • Conduct thorough testing of reports and dashboards before delivery to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to business requirements.
    • Work closely with the development team to address and resolve any issues identified during testing.

    6. Training:

    • Provide training sessions to business users on using reports and dashboards effectively.
    • Create training materials and documentation to support user adoption.

    7. Presentation of Insights:

    • Design and deliver insightful presentations to business users, showcasing the capabilities and value of the developed reports and dashboards.
    • Gather feedback and make iterative improvements based on user input.

    Qualifications

    1. Graduate or higher in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
    2. 5 - 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Analytics/Reporting projects.
    3. Proven experience in Power BI, Excel, SQL.
    4. Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP is highly desirable.
    5. Business process experience in the food supply & distribution industry is highly desirable.
    6. Professional certification in Power BI would be an added advantage.
    7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business processes and data structures.
    8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present facts/details in a concise manner to technical & non-technical stakeholders.
    9. Experience in coordinating and managing tasks within a BI development team.
    10. High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in both documentation and testing.
    11. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
    12. Excellent collaboration, relationship, and project management skills.
    13. Excellent technical / functional documentation skills with ability to deliver trainings.
    14. Experience on working with Global Clients and in diverse cultures.
