Job summary
The Project Manager – Solid Waste Management is responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of solid waste management projects.Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute and oversee solid waste management projects including collection transportation processing disposal Manage daily project operations at site ensure adherence to approved project plans timelines budgets Coordinate with municipal authorities government bodies consultants contractors vendors Ensure compliance with Solid Waste Management Rules 2016 other applicable environmental statutory regulations Monitor performance of site teams engineers supervisors operators manpower Oversee operation facilities as MRFs composting plants landfill sites waste processing units Maintain availability maintenance proper utilization machinery vehicles equipment Track project progress prepare MIS progress reports review presentations management clients Manage project documentation contracts BOQs drawings approvals statutory records Implement health safety environmental practices all project sites Identify risks implement corrective preventive actions Control costs resource allocation Handle client inspections audits review meetings.
