RolesandResponsibilities:
Generate innovative and original textile design concepts based onmarket trends brand guidelines and clientrequirements.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including fashion designersproduct developers and marketers to understand designobjectives.
Develop detailed and intricate patterns suitable for varioustextile applications such asclothing. Ensure thatpatterns meet quality and production standards considering factorslike scalability andcolorfastness.
Research and select appropriate materials and fabrics for specificdesignconcepts.
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to understandmaterial capabilities and limitations. expectations of the targetaudience.
Create harmonious color palettes that complement the overall designand meetthe
Stayupdated on color trends and incorporate them into designconcepts.
Utilize design software and tools proficiently for creating digitalrepresentations of textiledesigns. Understandand apply various printing and manufacturing techniques includingscreen printing digital printing andweaving.
Create prototypes and samples to test the feasibility of designsand make necessaryadjustments.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure that the final productmeets designspecifications.
Maintain detailed records of design concepts specifications anditerations.
Present design ideas and concepts to internal teams clients andstakeholders.
