- Plan and manage the delivery of approved products using agile techniques and frameworks to ensuredelivery of high-quality products and user experience.
- Act as scrum master in allocated product delivery teams, providing coaching to team to develop agilebehaviors, encourage productivity and facilitate an environment that enables effective delivery andenhanced ways of working that embeds Agile practices into delivery of products and services.
- Lead and manage delivery team/s to successfully deliver all key milestones and product outcomeswithin scope, on time, on budget and to expected standards.
- Manage and develop stakeholder relationships including steering committees, through effectivecommunications, documentation, negotiation, and issues management to ensure delivery of productsand the achievement of outcomes and benefits.
- Report and escalate issues such as variances and manage delivery by exception to ensure issues areunderstood and actions to resolve identified.
- Develop strategies for the continuous monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of all aspects of productdelivery including but not limited to, analysis of customer feedback, facilitation of agile ceremonies andartefact production, identification, and mitigation of risks.
- Support the delivery of all governance materials, artefacts, and meetings to ensure products aredelivered and maintained in a transparent fashion and stored and maintained as per Organizationalstandards.Infrastructure as Code (IAC) Requirements
- Technical skill-sets
- Hypervisors (vmware, Hyper-v) IAC for AWS, GCP, Azure and Azure stack Git and GitHub – Source code management (Version Control System) Jenkins – Automation server, with plugins built for developing CI/ CD pipelines Linux Fundamentals and Scripting PoweShell, Python, Ruby, Java (any two) REST API
- Proven experience in Compute, Hypervisors, Storage, Windows, Networks and Linux
- Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable.
- Work with industry groups and vendors outside of HSBC to establish and maintain HSBC's involvement and influence.
- Accountability for the control and compliance of the engineering process.
- Promote innovation and adoption of cutting edge specialist technologies and practices with the domain.
- Promote development of engineers through coaching, and mentoring.
- Consult as required in other areas to assist and provide a different perspective to programmes or projects that require it.
