Job Description:
Data Engineer

Software Requirements:

Knowledge of data architecture concepts like medallion architecture.
Experience in ETL and data pipeline development.
Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with Snowflake and Snowflake Data Pipelines.
Experience with Apache Airflow or Google Cloud Composer.
Competence in data transformation tools like dbt and Google Dataform.
Familiarity with Data Quality Check tools such as dbttest and Soda.
Proficiency in Python including libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
Advanced SQL skills.

Overall Responsibilities:

Collaborate with SMEs and data scientists to design and implement data pipelines.
Develop and maintain data pipelines ensuring quality and integrity.
Work with cross-functional teams to address data-related challenges.

Category-wise Technical Skills:

Data Architecture: Understand data architecture concepts.
ETL and Data Pipeline Development: Experience in building ETL processes and data pipelines.
Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform.
Database Technologies: Familiarity with Snowflake.
Workflow Management: Experience with Apache Airflow or Google Cloud Composer.
Data Transformation Tools: Competence in tools like dbt and Google Dataform.
Data Quality Check Tools: Familiarity with tools like dbttest and Soda.
Containerization and Orchestration: Confidence in Docker ecosystem.
Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in data engineering or related fields.

Day-to-Day Activities:

Collaborate with SMEs and data scientists.
Develop and maintain data pipelines.
Perform data quality checks.
Troubleshoot and debug pipeline issues.
Document processes and configurations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Soft Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience with BigQuery.
Prior experience with Datorama and DSP data.
Familiarity with adtech and media agencies.
