Job Location: Gurugram
Role & Responsibilities: -
· A Sales Professional with a track record in tech sales and in opening new relationships in the defined geography and vertical.
· Responsible for establishing and growing our footprint in the region by utilizing existing and new relationships
· Successful incumbent should have had a high degree of success in opening, acquiring, managing and growing accounts from scratch and building strategic relationships for long-term association.
· Candidate should be a self-motivated person to drive sales discussion on its own with C-Level Persona's.
· Should be able to drive the discussion to deliver strategic business value to customers.
· Candidate should be able to have a consultative approach towards the client and should be able to hold value-driven discussions.
· Prepare detailed Account plans for focused accounts. Collaborate with pre-sales & inside sales teams to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
· Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
· Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
· Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
· Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly opportunity conversion and revenue targets to internal and external stakeholders
· Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
· Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 2- 4 years of experience in B2B/Enterprise software sales
· Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role.
· Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
· Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs. Proven ability to juggle multiple account management opportunities at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
· Experience of handling Govt/PSU/Central Govt accounts is added advantage.
· Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Bachelor's degree or MBA - Ability to work in an entrepreneurial work environment where self-motivated individuals succeed
