- Monitor transportation operations in real-time to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers and stakeholders as required.
- Identify and resolve transportation issues, such as delays, congestion, and capacity constraints.
- Collaborate with fleet vendors to optimize vehicle capacity and utilization.
- Communicate effectively with customers and vendors regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transportation activities.
- Coordinate closely with the Customer Service team to ensure seamless service delivery to customers.
- Continuously monitor and improve logistics performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and carriers.
- Implement process improvements to enhance performance and service levels.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through the optimization of transportation activities.
- Generate customer invoices and ensure they reach the customer on time.
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in logistics or transportation operations, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications related to transportation management.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
