  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an engineering/technical field, Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in production methods of Liquid and Gas Supply Systems
  • At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience in quality management, engineering, manufacturing, or purchasing
  • Several years of experience in the qualification of suppliers
  • Profound knowledge in the application of quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA
  • Knowledge of API, ISO & ASME Standards
  • Proficient usage of MS Office applications as well as SAP Materials Management and Quality Management
  • Very good collaboration and communication skills
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel ~ 30%

  • Secure alignment to Siemens Energy Quality requirements and guidelines while performing Inspection / Supplier Development for Transformation of Industry business within Siemens Energy
  • Supplier qualification with a multi-functional team, including assessment of capabilities and risk of suppliers. Primary focus on supplier of Liquid and Gas Supply Systems for Rotating Equipments.
  • Lead multi-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualifications (PPQ) according to applicable process descriptions and standards. Support the suppliers to follow Siemens Energy Quality Management Process and usage of related tools.
  • Monitoring of supplier quality performance
  • Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement programs, quality root cause analysis and implementation of appropriate risk mitigation measurements at the supplier. Track implementation and effectiveness of measures. Monitoring of corrective and preventive actions of the suppliers
  • Early supplier involvement supporting the global supplier quality team in the product development process
  • Planning and execution of regular supplier audits
  • Proactive collaboration with a globally distributed team and internal customers
