    Job Profile: Sales/Business Development Manager

    Job Location: Bengaluru

    CTC – 12-14 lakhs per annum, including performance-linked variable pay

    Personal Profile: Around 10 years' experience in sales/business development - preferably in the electrical/electronics, chemicals, automotive or aerospace and defense Industry.

    Educational Background: Technical Background (B.Sc, B.E.) preferred. Alternatively, BMS, BBA, or B.Com - but with proven sales experience

    Other skills: Fluency in English and Hindi is a must along with good communication skills, both oral and written. Should also be comfortable with making presentations to customers. Knowledge of local languages would be a plus.

    Basic computer skills - MS Office, Emails, Skype are required. Will be required to regularly prepare presentations, write periodic reports, etc.

    Other Skill-sets: Should have previous experience successfully working with a sales team. Prior experience of working with international suppliers/clients will be a big advantage.

    Knowledge of Import-Export Norms, relevant procedures, will also be a big advantage.

    Company Profile: We are 70-year-old company representing several European producers of industrial raw-material such as metal alloys, chemicals, gelatin as well as semi-engineered goods such as components for industries like the Watch Industry, Electrical and Electronic Industry, Automotive Industry, Aerospace Industry and the Defense industries.

    The candidate will be responsible for the sale of defined products within the company's profile in and around Bangalore – mainly Karnataka, Kerala, Hyderabad and Tamil Nadu. Candidate will have to handle existing customers, as well as grow the customer base by targeting new customers.

    Candidate will have to study the catalogues, literatures of the products they are responsible for and then identify key customers in the relevant industries.

    After understanding the current sales process of the company, the candidate will be required to identify potential customers, approach them via cold calls, emails, visits and convert those potentials to new customers for the company.

    Candidate will be required to travel to the customers regularly to follow up for new business development. Self-motivation and discipline are key personality attributes required.
