    Job Description

    Responsible for on-site & bench calibration at service center's activities such as calibration of Keysight & multi-vendor products or systems which may include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems. Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems. Performs maintenance and repair services. Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance. Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business. Serves as an internal resource on technical issues. May have knowledge of third party products. May deliver internal technical training and maintenance seminars and workshops for team members/engineers or customers. May calibrate equipment on-site for large volume customers. May qualify leads.     Job Qualifications

    • Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent in field of Electronics or electronics & communications.
    • Typically 5-6 years relevant experience for this level.
    • Requires general proficiency with tools, systems and procedures to accomplish job.
    • Good communication skill (verbal/written/speaking)
    • Expertise & experience in MS office (Excel, word, Power Point)
    • Lean practitioner certified or awareness

    Job Function

    Support / Service

    • Responsible for Test Equipment Calibrations in lab & Volume On-Site Calibration (VOSCAL) assignments with broadly defined objectives. Works on on-site customer service and support assignments with broadly defined objectives Solves straight-forward issues, challenges and problems within field of specialization. Solves non-routine issues, challenges and problems within field of specialization. Need to have knowledge in Electronics Test & Measuring equipment measurements, uncertainty calculations. Should be well versed & experienced in handling with ISO 9001:2015 & ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standards & accreditation audits.
    • Responsible for proving the competence to calibrate signed-off models correctly and compliantly as per the documented skill Metrix. Lead the VOSCAL Campaign -- Leads the team of technicians to complete the onsite calibration in compliance to Keysight deliverables, ensure process adherence and quality guidelines at onsite, Calibration report correctness and archiving, Ensure daily updates with customer and VPM's and customer satisfaction.
    • Plan VOSCAL Setup at customer location ensuring site Inspection, Proper ETE box unpacking, station setups, Server and Client setup and Systems with updated software versions. Exercises good discretion in use of time and other Keysight resources, maximizes the use of existing assets, multitask effectively, Support/Solves any challenges with other stations/Technicians and ensures Keysight resources are used properly. Responsible to actively participate in the External and Internal Audit with respect to demonstrating Calibration activity, Estimating and computing Measurement Uncertainty as per the pre-defined and validated procedures. Shall be a part of local accreditation audits in demonstrating the CMC as per the pre-defined Procedure.
    • Calibration Team lead will be responsible to actively participate in the Quality Initiative programs which includes assurance of quality of calibration results. Willingness to travel extensively in India and within Bangalore. Curiosity to learn new technologies.
