    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Fellow for the project. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and headmasters in planning, execution, and implementation of the whole school transformation project and school program in the assigned block.

    The fellow will be responsible for visiting schools, capturing data, stories, and reflections to strengthen project implementation under the supervision of the Program Officer/Associate.

    Scope of Work

    • Anchoring the process of Model and Non-Model Schools
    • Supporting teachers and HMs to implement the STEM Program and parent engagement at school and community levels
    • Capturing good practices from the community and school
    • Providing support to HMs and teachers of model schools at block level to understand the nuances of STEM, Change Leader, and Master Coach programs, key project activities, and objectives with School Facilitator/Program Associate/Program Officer
    • Buidling liaison relations with BEO in block level
    • Ensuring block-level engagement and school-level implementation
    • Ensuring all program-related activities are being implemented at block and school levels, including virtual and physical training sessions, follow-up plans, model/innovation schools, student clubs (Baal Sanad, STEM clubs), morning assemblies, enrichment, parent engagements, career sessions (RMI), etc.
    • Developing model/innovation schools in blocks and helping school-based stakeholders develop a plan for their schools regarding improvement of attendance, learning, and participation of students
    • Working closely with student clubs (Baal sansad and STEM club) in schools for demonstrating student-led change activities
    • Contributing to the review process, annual work plan, and program design
    • Ensuring implementation of school-level activities in all schools of the block through a blended approach (Change Leader and Master Coach) change projects/hackathons
    • Influencing teachers/HM to apply for maximum nominations for Shiksha Ratn Puraskar
    • Participating and co-facilitating regular team meetings with teachers, Headmasters, and community members to understand program realities and provide required support
    • Ensuring ARC, TAN 90 activities are ongoing, mothers and youth groups organizing, PRI meetings happening on a monthly basis
    • Making joint visits with teachers in the community and developing better relationships with parents

    Program Implementation

    Ensuring School-Level Support

    • Planning meetings and review meetings at school and block level with Head Masters
    • Giving support to teachers/HMs to prepare agenda for SMC meetings. Ensuring that the SMC meetings have agenda points related to school and community to build healthy relationships
    • Giving support to the teachers to make plans for PTM meetings and ensuring that the PTM meetings have agenda points related to the school
    • Contributing to media engagement at block level and contributing to social media presence of the school program

    Relationship Management

    • Leading and facilitating the process to build relationships between school and community
    • Facilitating the process of parents and community-level engagement in respective schools
    • Participating and facilitating program-related activities and HMs Gosthi at block
    • Sharing monthly program-related updates with block officers

    Training and Capacity Building

    • Providing support to teachers and HMs to understand the nuances of school program, key project activities, and objectives
    • Working with the Program Officer providing support in making reports and plans as per requirement of the program
    • Participating and co-facilitating refresher training conducted for teachers and Headmasters

    Reporting

    • Adhering to data management plan and systems for school program and contributing effectively
    • Ensuring documenting and reporting of activities, case studies, and best practices as per the plan
    • Providing regular written and verbal reports tracking progress against work plan and implementation schedules
    • Using appropriate M&E tools for reporting on a regular basis
    • Supporting documentation of training/meeting/event reports
    • Supporting coordination of baseline/endline and other assessments
    • Collecting data as needed to help with compilation of donor report
    • Ensuring data is updated in the database
    • Supporting all reporting requirements such as quarter reviews, annual reviews
    • Participating in team meetings, reviews, and staff engagement activities
    • Being available for regular line management meeting and appraisal processes
    • Ensuring block-level reports are prepared and shared
