Job Responsibilities:

Lead a team of senior engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and best practices.
Participate actively in software design, development, delivery, and maintenance.
Oversee resource planning, execution, and quality assurance for software delivered by your team.
Drive the development of sophisticated products using cutting-edge technology stacks.
Collaborate closely with Product Management and other Engineering teams to execute business strategies and technologies.
Serve as a point of contact for Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and drive resolution for production defects and stability improvements.
Ensure operational efficiency and participate in organizational initiatives to deliver high customer value.
Tailor processes to manage time-sensitive issues and bring them to closure.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 8+ years of experience.
Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
4+ years of experience in Java programming and frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot.
Proven track record in performance appraisal, hiring, and team building.
Experience working in dynamic start-up environments.
Deep understanding of Object-Oriented programming languages.
Strong technology acumen, knowledge of software engineering processes, design, and architecture.
Familiarity with prominent cloud service providers like AWS/Azure/GCP.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and quality, with the ability to work well in and across teams.
Ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for their needs.
Experience delivering products with low/no-touch support and SRE principles.
