    Job Purpose

    The Senior Automation Lead in our team is the single point of contact for all automation needs in the project. This person identifies scope, area where automation could be applied and plans for it. Helps to mentor other QAs in the team. While setting up plan, identifies best framework and guides the team to build that framework. As a Senior Automation Lead, this person is also responsible for identifying best tools to use, enhance existing automation framework and build a culture of automating regularly used parts of the product.

    What You Will Do:

  • Lead and manage large, complex, enterprise-level projects.
  • Manage full automation Project including initial planning, scoping, resourcing, monitoring project implementation metrics, action items, and deliverables, performing quality control and validation activities and project closure activities.
  • Organize and lead project status and working meetings including preparation of progress reports.
  • Manage project risks and issues, correct deviations from plans with a focus on delivery planning.
  • Managing projects that often consist of multiple agile teams that require integration with other activities and departments across the organization.
  • Implement the appropriate people, process, and tools to improve team efficiency and effectiveness. Achieve the project goals within designated project constraints.
  • Mentor and guide rest of the team members as required.
  • Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team.

  • What to Bring:

  • University Degree, preferably B.Tech. Degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline or Business Degree.
  • Strong QA background to write, review test cases with given requirements.
  • Understand coupled featured to identify impact of any given requirement.
  • Good knowledge on automation concepts and practical challenges.
  • Demonstrated decision-making skills for tools to be used in a project, automation framework setup, research on tools and techniques based on project needs.
  • Developing automation test cases to test repeatable processes.
  • Overseeing the quality assurance team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Demonstrated technical prowess including solving complex problems, programming skills (Java and/or other computer programming languages), and familiarity/understanding of systems architecture.
  • Having experience with automation testing using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API automation testing
  • Experience in Mobile app automation testing
  • Experience in Performance testing
