    Job Overview

    TenAI is looking for a highly skilled Academic Advisor to join our team. As an Academic Advisor, you will provide guidance, support, and mentorship to students on their educational journey. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
    • 4 to 6 years of experience as an Academic Advisor or in a similar role
    • Strong knowledge of educational programs and courses
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to build rapport with students and establish trust
    • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in computer skills and student information systems
    • Sales and overseas experience is a plus

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide academic guidance and counseling to students
    • Assist students in selecting appropriate courses and educational programs
    • Help students set educational goals and develop long-term plans
    • Monitor student progress and provide feedback on academic performance
    • Identify and address any barriers or challenges that students may face
    • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
    • Stay updated on educational policies and procedures
    • Attend meetings and workshops to enhance counseling skills
    • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress
