    POSITION: Senior Site Reliability / DevOps Engineer (Automation)

    LOCATION: Hyderabad (Onsite)

    Experience: 7+ years

    Work type: Fulltime

    PETADATA is currently looking to hire for the Senior Site Reliability / DevOps Engineer (Automation) role for one of their clients.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Should develop and implement comprehensive automation strategies across infrastructure, deployments, and operational tasks, with a keen focus on security and reliability.
    • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated security testing and compliance checks to ensure the highest standards of cybersecurity are maintained. Work closely with IT and development teams to incorporate best practices in cybersecurity and IT operations into the automation frameworks.
    • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting tools with a focus on security metrics and performance indicators.
    • Analyze data and feedback from the Customer Zero program to continuously refine and enhance automation and cybersecurity practices.
    • Provide expertise in automation, cybersecurity, and IT operations, offering mentorship to team members and ensuring best practices are followed.
    • Ensure the scalability, security, and resilience of our infrastructure and applications, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities through automated solutions.
    • Must do document processes, maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for internal use, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cybersecurity and IT.

    Required skills:

    • Should have 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles, with a strong emphasis on automation, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
    • Expertise in scripting languages (e.g.,Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
    • Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
    • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, GCP), with experience managing cloud-native applications and ensuring their security.
    • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO), and IT best practices.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Educational Qualification:

    Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
