    Job Title: Category Manager

    We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to lead our residential interior team with expertise in modular and related product categories.

    This role requires a strong technical knowledge combined with leadership skills, driving innovation and managing teams effectively.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical, training, and promotional documents, managing product launches, and leading prototype development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Revenue Generation: Take ownership of revenue generation through newly launched products.
    2. Standards Development: Develop and implement design and quality standards for modular interiors, ensuring consistency and excellence across all projects.
    3. Material Library Management: Organize and maintain an up-to-date library of high-quality materials suited for modular designs.
    4. Product Knowledge and Industry Trends: Stay ahead of modular products, materials, and industry trends, using this knowledge to make informed design and material decisions.
    5. Product Launch Management: Lead planning, coordination, and execution of product launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives on time.
    6. Prototype Development: Oversee prototype creation and testing to ensure alignment with quality and functionality standards, addressing issues during the prototype phase to refine products pre-launch.
    7. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and support a team of designers and support staff, providing training and feedback to foster team growth and performance.
    8. Project Coordination and Communication: Work closely with procurement, sourcing, and other departments to align on timelines and requirements, ensuring clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in Residential interiors.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Proficiency in design software such as Enscape, Sketch Up, or Adobe Suite.
      • Experience in sustainable and eco-friendly design practices.
      • Familiarity with end-to-end product development, from concept to prototype and launch.

    Estimated Salary:

    $100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
