    Job Purpose:

    The candidate will work dedicatedly for the Project Financing team of a Global investment bank, supporting in creating complex financial models and validating/updating models already in place. They will also prepare relevant material with underlying assumptions and outcomes in word/PPT.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop, Build and Validate Complex Project Financial Models:

    • Develop, build and/or validate complex project financial models to evaluate various project investment scenarios.

    • The models comprise project cash flows modelling, debt capacity modelling, and tax equity modelling relevant to US power and infrastructure projects.

    Execute with Excellent Quality:

    • Independently structure models in discussion with onshore bankers following a suggestive approach and execute with excellent quality to ensure high client satisfaction.

    Prepare Deal-Related Memos:

    • Prepare deal-related memos, such as credit approval memos and investment memorandums, etc.

    Client/Requester Relationship Building and Management:

    • Demonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment.

    Required Background:

    Education:

    • MBA/CFA/CA or equivalent.

    Experience:

    • Relevant 3+ years of Power including Renewable Energy like Solar and Wind Energy projects or infrastructure projects in an investment banking division of a bank, boutique firm, KPO, consultancy, or advisory firm.

    Skills:

    • Strong analytical and statistical skills to assess and understand project investment structures, government regulations/policies, and industry.

    • The ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

    • MS Office skills – MS Excel should be excellent along with proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Word. The ability to create macros would be an added advantage.
