    Job Title: Volunteer Healthcare Practitioner for Heart Health Support Group

    Heart Health India Foundation is a pioneer patient-led organization dedicated to combating cardiovascular disease (CVD). We focus on awareness, support, and advocacy to improve heart health across India. Our initiatives include creating support groups, conducting awareness campaigns, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking passionate volunteer Healthcare Practitioners, including Physicians, Dentists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Dieticians, and Paramedics, to join our mission in expanding heart health support networks across India. Volunteers will engage with hospitals and clinics to establish connections and set up both virtual and local support groups for heart patients and their families.

    Responsibilities:

    Coordinate with hospitals and clinics to promote and integrate HHIF's patient support groups.

    Organize and moderate support group meetings and discussions, ensuring a supportive environment for patient engagement.

    Facilitate peer-to-peer learning and the distribution of curated scientific information related to heart health prevention and management.

    Work collaboratively with a team of medical professionals and HHIF team to plan and execute awareness campaigns, educational workshops and health screening camps.

    Assist in gathering feedback and insights from support group activities to enhance program effectiveness.

    Requirements:

    Professional qualifications in any healthcare field (e.g., Medicine, Dentistry, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Paramedicine).

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English and regional Indian languages.

    Ability to volunteer remotely or locally, depending on the geographical location and needs.

    High degree of self-motivation and commitment to volunteerism in a non-paid capacity.

    Experience in group facilitation, patient education, or community health initiatives is highly desirable.
