About The Role

A Scent Innovation Specialist is responsible for creating, evaluating, and managing the development of new fragrances for perfumes, personal care products, home care, and other applications.

They collaborate with perfumers, marketing teams, and clients to ensure that fragrance compositions align with brand identity and consumer preferences.

Creative Development: Work closely with perfumers to develop new fragrance formulations.
Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for innovative fragrances.
Ensure fragrance compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Manage fragrance projects from concept to final approval.
Work with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory, and production.
Stay updated on global fragrance trends and industry innovations.
Create cost-effective fragrances based on different concepts for different functional products in coordination with marketing briefs.
Create/select from existing fragrance libraries as per brief/customer needs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum 5-6 years of experience in the relevant field.
Strong understanding of fragrance ingredients, olfactive families, and sensory evaluation.
Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into fragrance innovations.
Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
