    Razorpay Checkout launched 5 years back has been one of our 10x differentiators across our Payments offering.

    Built on the principles of B2B2C with the northstar to reduce abandoned carts and to improve conversions in the checkout journey, this has helped merchants across SME, Enterprises and freelancers increase their net revenue.

    This suite touches 100m+ end consumers annually and we are looking to build further on this stack to keep this as our 10x differentiator Some of the recent innovations on this product were showcased in the keynote of our annual conference Razorpay FTX.

    This role is to build a large new initiative that can help merchants uplift conversion as well as drive traffic to the Checkout stack.

    Job Summary


    Product Marketing Managers at Razorpay are responsible for identifying new product innovation opportunities as well as maximising the potential of our existing products.

    In this specific role, you would be responsible for building and scaling one-click checkout. This individual would be responsible for product marketing strategy that would include positioning, messaging, pricing among many other things. In addition, the individual would be responsible for maximising the potential through a fine-tuned go-to-market strategy.

    But no good job is done alone.

    So as part of the role, the individual will work with multiple stakeholders including Product Managers, Brand and Marketing team to drive growth for the product.

    Job Description

    • Define Value Proposition: Develop the value proposition for the product through a detailed analysis of the customer segment and the market
    • Define branding and positioning: Work with central branding team to come up with the branding and positioning for the products
    • Lead Go-ToMarket: Draft and execute a gotomarket plan in conjunction with other stakeholders such as Product and Sales. Be the internal and external authority and advocate for your area of focus.
    • Inform Product Strategy: Talk to customers, conduct market research, work with our product analysts and acquire insights that will inform the product strategy

    Facing Team:

    Enable and train the Sales, Marketing, and Customer-Success Teams by owning & driving the creation of collaterals, content, and demo.

    You will be a good fit for this role if:

    • You are comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced start-up environment
    • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • You have experience in B2B or Consumer marketing and working closely with product and sales
    • You understand technology, but love customerfirst & businessfirst thinking
    • You have 35 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, and/or product management
    • You have experience / working knowledge of Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Performance Marketing and can work closely with the marketing executives who are specialists in these, to drive outcomes.
