Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Internship-Backend. The internship backend will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems, handling database management tasks, testing and debugging code, and contributing to software design and architecture.

This internship is a 6-month internship with a competitive stipend.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop backend systems and APIs that support our platform.
• Architect, implement and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using modern technologies and best practices.
• Optimise backend performance and reliability to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Work closely with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services.
• Write clean, well-documented code and conduct thorough testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Pursuing or Completing a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Tier 1 colleges and proven Internship experience in at least 2 companies.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
• Proficiency in the backend programming language Java.
• Knowledge of backend frameworks like Java, Python, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, or is appreciated.
• Understanding of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure is appreciated.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
