    About your role

    The Client Reporting Solutions Lead works directly with the Global Head of Client Reporting and reporting leads globally and provides governance and operational readiness support for Client Reporting, working closely with Distribution (including Sales, Client Relationship and Client Service teams) and Technology heads. The individual will be responsible for client reporting change management, governance, risk, and data oversight in support of the client reporting strategy and ongoing improvements to the operating model.

    Managing stakeholders from across Fidelity is a key component of this role as well as demonstrating a broad knowledge and experience of operations and strategic development for continuous evolution of the reporting function.

    What you will do

  • Play a central and strategic role in implementing our client reporting strategy
  • Forge strong relationships with internal stakeholders demonstrating exceptional influencing skills and the ability to balance multiple, often conflicting priorities
  • Support the prioritisation of new client reporting and change requests facilitating discussions with regions to manage expectations
  • Support the framework and model for horizon scanning to understand future regulatory and client demand
  • Support the development of a client reporting catalogue
  • Have responsibility alongside the global head of client reporting for the risk and control environment
  • Input into internal governance forums and ensure our data oversight process is in place
  • Support controls testing, internal audits, compliance reviews as well as supporting and conducting due diligence reviews
  • Work closely with Technology to ensure that our systems are developed to accommodate reporting requirements and process improvements
  • Ensure that all client reporting projects are supported and delivered upon in conjunction with the various change and automation teams
  • Ensure the function's management reporting and performance metrics are best in class to support management reporting and planning
  • About you

  • A senior leader with a track record in delivering and functioning in a complex environment
  • Experienced in working within a global team, one that is operating across multiple business areas at any given time
  • Can demonstrate strong relationship management and influencing skills – having the proven ability to handle complex, diverse and multi layered relationships
  • Transformation mindset – Innovative approach to the creation of new reporting capabilities supporting continuous improvement across reporting activities
  • Project management, strategic planning, and delivery
  • Understands reporting data, derivations of data and management of reporting data
  • Have strong decision making and conflict management skills, taking full ownership for delivery with minimum direction needed
  • An ability to analyse and understand complex reporting requirements and work with key stakeholders to determine impacts to current and future processes
  • An ability to work at differing levels of detail, both big picture concepts and complex detailed issues
  • Experience of effectively leading teams through operational and technology change initiatives whilst maintaining operational service standards
  • Calm and confident when dealing with complex operational issues ensuring satisfactory resolution of issues
  • An effective approach to risk management with a focus on developing control frameworks
  • An excellent communicator at all levels with experience of chairing senior forums
