Job summary
The Head of Talent Management will be responsible for designing, building and institutionalizing end-to-end Talent Management processes from the ground up for a large complex organization. The role will focus on high-potential identification leadership pipeline development succession planning competency framework design and deployment of robust assessment methodologies supported by strong digital HR systems and talent analytics This is a hands-on build-and-scale role requiring deep expertise in translating TM philosophy into practical business-ready frameworksResponsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive enterprise Talent Management framework covering High-Potential identification Talent reviews and calibration processes Leadership pipeline readiness assessment Own the end-to-end talent lifecycle from assessment identification through development role readiness Define institutionalize Hi-Po philosophy criteria governance lead structured talent assessments calibration discussions nine-box evaluations facilitate leadership talent review forums with senior stakeholders ensure objectivity consistency data-driven decision-making across talent outcomes Build deploy succession planning frameworks for critical roles up to Manager level Assess readiness levels identify risk areas define targeted development actions Track succession health using dashboards analytics enable cross-functional exposure leadership rotations to build breadth bench strength Design role-based leadership development pathways aligned to future business needs Strengthen evolve existing leadership development initiatives ensuring they are practical business-ready outcome-oriented partner with Learning Development teams translate assessment insights into Individual Development Plans IDPs enable faster more effective deployment of internal talent into critical roles Design institutionalize a role-based level-based competency framework where required Define behavioral leadership functional competencies aligned to organizational context Anchor assessments development planning succession mapping to the competency model Design deploy validated assessment centers psychometric tools Mandatory expertise in certified assessment tools center design execution build internal capability for facilitation interpretation feedback Ensure practices scientifically credible consistently applied Drive ownership digital talent systems analytics Build manage dashboards tracking Talent health Hi-Po pipelines Succession readiness Leadership impact Partner HRIS optimize use platforms Enable data-led decisions across the organization Work closely influence senior stakeholders through structured frameworks insights recommendations Ideal Candidate Profile Experience Years hands-on TM experience preferably within Large manufacturing organizations Diversified Indian conglomerates Global organizations internal TM COEs Must have personally built implemented TM processes within an organization not advisory-only roles Proven experience High-Potential identification Talent reviews nine-box matrices Succession planning Competency framework design Leadership development pathways Certified in centers psychometric tools mandatory Strong HR analytics dashboarding insights Power BI equivalent
