- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, EKS, API Gateway, DMS, MSK, Cloudfront, CloudWatch, AWS SSO
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools including Terraform and AWS Cloudformation.
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Docker.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.

- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration.
- Architect solutions that meet performance, security, compliance, and budgetary requirements.
- Assess existing on-premises or cloud-based infrastructure and develop migration strategies to AWS.
- Execute migration plans with minimal disruption to operations, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Continuously optimize cloud resources to improve performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance issues or potential failures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related problems, collaborating with other teams as needed.
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards in AWS environments, including IAM policies, encryption, network security, and access controls.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct regular security assessments, and implement remediation measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support their initiatives.
- Document architecture designs, configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Agile process knowledge will be an added advantage.
