    Job Purpose

    Lockton India is currently hiring a Section Lead within the Treasury team. This role is directly responsible for overseeing Lockton India's treasury activities.

    Job Tasks

    · Maintain strong relationships with bank representatives to negotiate favourable terms and secure optimal financial services.

    · Ensure administrative payments, statutory dues and business payouts are aligned with internal policies.

    · Assist in the implementation of a new ERP system.

    · Assist in preparation of financial statements according to statutory requirements and ensure compliances with all applicable regulations and reporting requirements.

    · Assist in statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely completion and addressing identified issues.

    · Perform ledger scrutiny, analyse balances and conduct variance analysis with corrective recommendations and actions.

    · Maintain schedules for advances, loans, interest, deposits, investments, fixed assets and depreciation.

    · Implement and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

    · Partner with the operations department to ensure timely revenue recognition, invoice processing and payment reconciliation.

    Qualifications & Experience

    · Graduate or post-graduate education in a related field.

    · 10+ years experience in a treasurer role, preferably within the insurance industry.

    · Strong communication skills and established relationships across financial services providers.
