    Inviting applications for the role of Manager – Assortment Analytics, Analytics (Retail)
    As the Assortment Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for performing assortment analytics. Use data and analysis to define overall size and shape of categories, suggesting new additions, deletions, range resets inline with business strategies

    Responsibilities

    • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and market dynamics to optimize product assortment.

    • Monitor and evaluate assortment performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.

    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis.

    • Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, suppliers, and supply chain teams to align assortment strategies with overall business objectives.

    • Develop and execute assortment strategies to maximize sales, margin, and inventory productivity.

    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in assortment analytics.

    • Drive continuous improvement, Process optimization, Implement process standardization, simplification and automation to enable efficient and effective delivery of Assortment analytics capabilities.

    • Ensure compliance with the established internal processes and metrics

    • Manages, maintains, reviews, and improves the SLAs, critical metrics and other Business and Customer Metrics in line with our business strategies.

    Tools and Technology

    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power- BI)

    • Experience with assortment planning software and tools

    Qualifications we seek in you
    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

    • Prior Retail analytics/Assortment Analytics/ Retail Operations experience/Range Optomization
    Preferred qualifications/Skills

    • Ability to execute and follow through on high-quality output, with limited oversight.

    • Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to make data-backed decisions

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    • Strong verbal & written communication skills.

    • Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others

    • Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices
