    Position: Full Stack Java Developer

    Duration: 6 month Contract to Hire

    Start Date: ASAP

    Core Hours: 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM IST

    Location: Chennai, India

    Must-Haves:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
    • 10+ years of experience
    • Java
    • Angular
    • JavaScript
    • Spring framework and writing JUnits.
    • Microservices/API

    Pluses:

    • WMS (warehouse management system)
    • Experience developing in an agile environment
    • Knowledge of containerization environment Docker/Kubernetes.
    • Knowledge on Cloud native programing and deployment on various cloud environments.
    • Knowledge in using OAuth or JWT to secure API.

    Day to Day:

    Insight Global is seeking strong Full Stack Java Developer to join a growing team with a large client within the logistics business. This member will be a part of driving critical projects aimed at enhancing the clients supply chain capabilities. This individual will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of existing and new applications. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical resource with the ability to understand, learn and master many different diverse technologies used across the enterprise, work with minimal supervision, and has ability to work closely with the business and technical resources Other daily tasks and responsibilities include the following:

    • Collaborate with application development teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to understand the business requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
    • Works with an agile team to code, test, and maintain java applications on Spring Framework and micro services technologies
    • Review, analyze, troubleshoot, and modify complex core and customized software.
    • Respond to complex, escalated customer inquiries/requests for technical/operational support.
    • This position is full-time and may require after hours or on-call support including, but not limited weekends and evenings.

    Compensation:

    Lahks/Month

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
