    Job Description:


    The Server Hardware Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of server, storage, and networking infrastructure across various leading OEMs.

    This role involves installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and replacement of server hardware components, as well as diagnosing and resolving hardware issues.


    Responsibilities:


    Provide support for rack, blade, and tower servers from leading OEMs such as HPE, Dell EMC, IBM / Lenovo, NetApp, Cisco, and other major brands.

    Offer assistance with installation and configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls from prominent OEMs like Cisco, Aruba & Juniper.
    Perform installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and replacement of server, storage, and networking devices.
    Diagnose hardware issues related to servers, storage systems, and networking equipment, and implement appropriate solutions.

    Generate and analyze log reports from servers and storage systems of major OEMs to identify potential issues and proactively address them.

    Engage in fieldwork as and when required to address on-site hardware issues.
    Collaborate with the service delivery team to resolve IT hardware-related issues efficiently.
    Work cross-functionally with other departments internally to optimize the overall customer experience.
    Perform any other related duties as assigned by the management.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    Proven experience in supporting server, storage, and networking hardware from leading OEMs.
    Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues effectively.
    Familiarity with generating and analyzing log reports to identify trends and potential problems.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
    Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    Flexibility to work in a 24x7 environment and engage in fieldwork when necessary.
    Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent are advantageous.
    Prior experience in in-house spare testing and troubleshooting is a plus.
