    ABOUTTHE ROLE
    Job Overview:


    Our client is lookingfor a Food Scientist to join the team and provide technicalexpertise to help their organization create better food productsand improve the packaging they use for the food that theysell.

    A Food Scientist sresponsibilities include using chemistry to improve the flavour andtexture of food products meanwhile cut down the cost.

    Ultimatelyone will work with a team of Engineers to help the organizationstay ahead of the competition and develop new productinnovations.

    ResponsibilitiesandDuties:Researching new costreducing manufacturing processes that meetcustomer and regulatoryrequirements.
    Communicating withrelevant parties regarding food quality and safetyconcerns.
    Utilizing formulationsoftware to create and updateformulations.
    Working on newproducts from conceptualization tolaunch.
    Arranging and shippingsales samples.
    Updating productinformation sheets for sales preparation and updatedlabels.
    Recording analyzing andsummarizing research data.
    Coordinating independent laboratorytesting.
    Updating and maintainingthe MRP system.
    Adhering to GMPand other safetyregulations.

    Requirements

    ProfileRequirements
    Bachelor sdegree in agricultural science biology chemistry or a relatedfield.
    Ability to use internaland external sources to make technical scientificadvances.
    2 years of experienceworking as a Food Scientist or a related role; Relevant trainingand/or certifications are a plus.
    Fluency in Hindi and English; knowledge of another language is aplus.
    Basic knowledge andunderstanding of data science.
    Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.
    Willingness to travelovernight and to work night and weekend shifts for specialprojects.

    Profile Requirements:
    BSc degree in Business Administration;hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus. Proven workexperience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager,Hospitality Manager, or similar role.

    Extensive food and beverage(F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recallingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.

    Abilityto stand and walk for a long time. Familiarity with restaurantmainstream management and take-outsoftware/application.
