    Summary

    We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Applications Manager to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career with Aristocrat.
    The Applications Manager is responsible for leading a team of IT Developers and Support Analysts. This individual is an active partner and a business process visionary who shapes the technology demand among customer facing employee community across Aristocrat's global businesses. The Applications Manager participates in project engagements and demonstrates solid approaches on providing technical solutions. As part of our global, cross-functional team, this role partners with engineering, project management, and technical product developers to deliver solutions across a wide variety of customers.

    What you'll do

    • Lead Digital Asset Management Software Development and Support team that builds a portfolio of solutions for different business verticals at Aristocrat.
    • Works as part of global leadership team to develop roadmaps and ensure solution proposals are following Aristocrat's long-term goals.
    • Responsible for leading a team which provides analysis, design, and architecture of large IT systems, involving multiple technology stacks creating end to end solutions.
    • Identifies and resolves gaps in skills, processes, and resources.
    • Creates and sets performance plans for the team aligned to strategic plans.
    • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, mentors, and monitors progress of the team.
    • Managerial duties include resource augmentation, relationship building with vendors, external teams, and resource allocation.
    • Strong process improvement and change management skills with the ability to influence positive organizational change.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    What we're looking for

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required.

    Experience:

    • Must have a total experience of at least 15 years with 8+ years of experience in DevOps, version control tools, digital asset management and team management.
    • In-depth knowledge of Digital Asset Management systems and tools. Experience in implementation and familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
    • Working knowledge of version control tools (preferably in a multinational manufacturing organization).
    • Must possess mature understanding of SDLC practices with good exposure to CI/CD.
    • Actively participate in design, code, and test Inspections throughout product life cycle.
    • Hands-on experience in Agile application development environments.
