    Job Summary:


    Business Development Leader specializing in Textile Non-Woven Segment shall be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our company's TNW division.

    lead strategic initiatives to identify new business opportunities, establish and nurture relationships with clients and partners, and develop innovative solutions to meet market demands.

    This role requires a strong understanding of the textile industry, including non-woven materials & Technical Textiles , along with exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively drive business development efforts.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

    • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and growth opportunities in the TNW industry.
    • Develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company objectives and market dynamics.
    • Analyse competitor activities and market conditions to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
    • Identify and engage with potential customers, understanding their requirements and present tailored solutions to address their specific needs.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.

    New Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships & collaborations.
    • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to acquire new clients and penetrate new markets.
    • Create compelling sales materials and campaigns to attract new clients and promote TNW products.

    Product Development and Innovation:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D and manufacturing, to develop innovative textile & nonwoven products that meet market demands and quality standards.
    • Gather feedback from customers and industry experts to identify areas for product development and innovation.
    • Stay updated on technological advancements and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in product offerings.

    Team Building & Development:

    • Propose and align with management on size and quality of team required.
    • Lead the hiring process and induction of team members into the organization.
    Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team, setting clear goals and expectations.

    • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their sales skills, product knowledge, and customer relationship management abilities.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to support professional growth and development.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

    Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage budgets for business development activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
    • Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and prepare regular reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
    • Work closely with finance and supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for the TNW division.

    Desired Profile:

    • Proven experience of ~20 years in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the textile industry. Exposure to Nonwovens and/or technical textiles would be an advantage.
    • Strong understanding of textile manufacturing processes, technologies, and market trends.
    • Exposure to international market in close geographic proximity like Bangladesh/Vietnam would be an advantage.
    • Master's degree in business administration, Marketing with Bachelors in Textile Chemistry /Engineering ( Preferred).
    • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute business development strategies.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire crossfunctional teams.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.
