    • Develop and implement mechanical system designs that meet industry requirements.
    • Collaborate with vendors to source materials and manufacture components.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and quick prototyping to evaluate design concepts.
    • Test and validate mechanical systems through prototyping, assembly, and testing.
    • Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance and feedback.
    • Sustain products by addressing mechanical issues and staying current with industry advancements.

    Education and Experience:

    To excel in this role, you should have:

    • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
    • At least 3-10 years of experience in designing and developing mechanical systems, preferably in medical product development or manufacturing.

    Key Skills and Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • Expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
    • Proficiency in engineering calculations, FEA simulation, and GD&T analysis.
    • Strong technical documentation skills and ability to create detailed manufacturing drawings.
    • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical design, particularly in medical equipment design.
    • Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivation and ability to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
    • Ability to collaborate with global cross-functional teams.

    Working Conditions:

    This role requires travel to vendor locations and may involve working in a fast-paced environment.
