    Job Purpose


    As a Manager - BD (Railways) - Protective Coatings, you will be responsible for business generation and retention through the railways segment.

    You will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive business plan, which will involve identifying the business opportunities for protective coatings, building and maintaining relationship with all key decision maker's/specification makers and collaborating with the various divisions of India railways.

    Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and managing other key accounts associated with the Railways (like metros) and ensuring high customer satisfaction levels.

    Business Responsibility Areas


    Business Generation/Expansion:

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets through the Railways segment
    • Getting APPPG brand and product specified with the Railways and associated segments
    • Identify new business opportunities with various divisions of Railways and develop new markets to expand the business
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns targeted at the Railways segment.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the Railways segment to identify potential threats and opportunities
    • Create preference with all Indian railways business areas and maintain strong relationships

    Customer Engagement and Experience:

    • Ensure exceptional customer experience by providing timely and effective solutions to customer issues and concerns
    • Organize product demonstrations and seminars to educate customers on product features and benefits
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the needs and requirements of Railways segment clients
    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales cycle
