Job Summary:

The Associate Dean of Psychology will provide dynamic academic leadership and vision for the Department. This role involves overseeing curriculum development, faculty mentorship, student support, research initiatives, and fostering collaborations within the college and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Academic Leadership:
• Lead the development and implementation of innovative curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry trends and best practices.
• Foster a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship.
• Mentor and support faculty members in their professional development.
• Oversee student advising and support services.
• Manage departmental resources.

• Research & Collaboration:
• Promote and facilitate research activities within the department.
• Seek external funding opportunities to support research initiatives.
• Foster collaborations with other departments, institutions, and community organizations.

• Departmental Administration:
• Oversee departmental operations, including faculty recruitment, course scheduling, and program evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with college policies and accreditation standards.
• Represent the department at college and university meetings.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Psychology from a reputed institution with prior experience in leading the department.
• Ability to inspire and mentor students, conduct impactful research, and lead successful academic initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
