    Intro and job overview:

  • As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will be part of the team that designs and develops cloud applications in the Enrich Data domain. You will be deeply involved in designing, developing, and unit testing applications. You will work closely with Software engineers, data scientists, product owners and product managers to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that deliver business value. You will contribute to the best practices, standards, and technical road-map.
  • Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Product Development with 5+years in the industry involved in the design and development of modern Cloud applications.
  • End-to-end technical ownership of product features
  • Responsible for unit-level design, coding, unit testing, integration testing and participating in the entire SDLC.
  • Participate/ own technical designs, participate in discussions, constructively suggest, and receive ideas & feedback for solutions.
  • Collaborate with other team members and work with cross-functional teams as required to design and develop innovative solutions according to requirements. Peer review of code practice needs to be followed.
  • Evaluate, learn, and incorporate new technologies into new and existing frameworks and solutions as applicable.
  • Participate in design and code reviews within a team environment.
  • Develop data products in bigdata environments and platforms like Databricks, Spark, Snowflake etc
  • Be agile and embrace change.
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Up5 years of demonstrable experience with Full Stack development, preferably Cloud Stack development like AWS.
  • Excellent knowledge of OOP concepts. Thorough understanding of Java or Python features and fundamentals.
  • Experience consuming REST APIs in building scalable, modern web applications
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD processes and understanding of JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, and Artifactory
  • Knowledge of Git
  • Good understanding of Design Patterns and Architectural Patterns and hands-on experience in applying them in day-to-day design
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment.
  • Exposure to cloud-native technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
  • Tech Stack: Java, PythonBackend/Frontend Scripting – React.jsDatabases – SQL, PostgreSQL MySQL, MongoDBOS – Good exposure working on Linux platforms and Shell commands preferred.Knowledge on Ansible and Terraform are an added advantage
  • Good understanding and prior use of TDD (Test Driven Development) practices
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP will be an added advantage.
