Senior QA Analyst - Roles and Responsibilities

· Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum), and Hybrid

· Good Experience and Knowledge on Test Planning, Test Strategy and Testing Methodologies

· Participate in the review and analysis of business requirements, functional specifications and design documents.

· Understand domain, functionality, business use cases/user stories and develop comprehensive test cases and test steps.

· Understand epics, features and user stories for acceptance, functional, and system integration testing.

· Tests APIs, web and mobile based applications (iOS, Android) that reference back-end systems and reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verify fixes.

· Perform functional testing, system integration testing, smoke/sanity testing, usability testing, compatibility, and exploratory testing.

· Assists in formulating QA standards and best practices, organizational policies and processes and strategic plans.

· Identify, document, and report software defects and issues, providing clear and concise descriptions and steps to reproduce.

· Proactively engage in the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process to investigate issues and incorporate corrective actions for continuous quality improvement.

· Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure a smooth and high-quality user experience.

· Collaborate with QA Lead and team to develop effective strategies and test plans.

· Actively collaborate with developers, QA lead, product manager to shape the product and deliver product releases.

· Work with cross-functional scrum teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

· Good Understanding of Testing Process, Stakeholder Management, Communication and Status Reporting

· Preferred candidates with assured certification
