    Description

    Overview of the role

    This role entails thorough communication with students regarding available courses and the best possible options for them. The candidate will have to deal with student doubts and provide active support regarding courses and curriculum along with any support required during the enrolment process. In addition, the candidate would also have to collaborate and co-ordinate with centre managers and industry partners and co-ordinate various programmes offered across the centres.

    Medhavi Skills University (Sikkim) has been established with the passage of the Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim Act 2021 in the Sikkim State Legislative Assembly on 29th June 2021. MSU aspires to establish a pioneering university model where corporates/ industries shall be the stakeholders and influencers in course curriculum design, program delivery, practical skills training, as well as, for providing on-the-job apprenticeship, with the following mission and vision.

    Key Deliverables:

    Handling counselling via multiple channels including telephone calls, chats, emails and social.

    In addition, assist in the conversion process of leads generated from different sources, to prospective admission seekers for the courses offered by our university programs.

    Provide comprehensive counselling to the prospects.

    Working with telephony and CRM systems.

    Log calls and raise tickets and follow up / coordinate with various departments for closing the tickets.

    Co-ordinating with industry partners in the onboarding of students.

    Perform any other work/responsibility as assigned by the HOD on time-to-time basis.

    Ideal Profile:

    2 to 4 years of relevant work experience.

    Previous experience working as an academic counsellor or programme co-ordinator is preferred.

    Skills & Abilities:

    Good English Communication Skills.

    Proficiency in regional languages, Hindi and English.

    Ability to speak clearly and articulately.

    Ability to manage complaint calls with a calm disposition.

    Flexible with travelling to multiple locations within the region.

    Willingness to learn and understand all the products and services offered by the university.

    Ability to multitask.
