    What the day will look likeAs a key member of our team, you will be part of a tight-knit and friendly team that forms a collaboration between our actuarial pricing and reserving teams and software development teams, whose goal is to support the adoption of Aon's Pricing Platform ('APP') and the Tyche Reserving System ('TRS') across the insurance market.

    This role will encompass a wide variety of work.

    Initially, you can expect to be involved with the following:
    Pricing system development

    . This will involve managing and overseeing development work by liaising with clients to gather business requirements, designing, implementing and reviewing the solution, and developing automated testing frameworks.
    Sales support

    . Supporting the sales process for Tyche, TRS and APP through proof of concept exercises and trials.

    Day to day activities will include:

    Managing and overseeing development work from a technical business perspectiveLiaising with clients to gather business requirementsWorking in a multi-disciplinary team to design, implement, and review actuarial system developmentsSupporting and training users of our systemsSupporting the sales process through proof of concept exercises and trials.

    There will also be the opportunity to get involved in helping support the career development and growth of other actuarial team members through line management and mentoring responsibilities.

    We have a strong multi-disciplinary team, including exceptional developers and an IT team that offer fully hosted solutions.

    Required education and certifications critical for the roleGraduate in Mathematics / Statistics / EconomicsQualified, or part qualified actuary, clearing SP7 and SP8 exams.

    Required experience for the roleMinimum work experience of 7+ years in Consulting or Insurance companies.

    Of this, a minimum of 3 years' experience in P&C pricing or capital (GAAP, Solvency II, IFRS)Skills and experience that will lead to successA self-motivated team player that works collaborativelyGood communicator with the ability to adapt to suit different audiences, and good at building relationshipsExcellent organisational skillsExperience of overseeing the delivery of and/or developing actuarial toolsExperience of coding, Python or SQL are desirableExemplify analytical and problem-solving skillsHow we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
