Job OverviewRole:

Software Engineer II – Supply ChainLocation: MumbaiThe Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of a Consultant.

This role will report into Manager – Manufacturing D&T in India and functionally collaborate with the global teams in developing business solutions.

It is an Individual contributor role.

In this role, you should be able to convert functional requirements into technical specification and work independently on global projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Writes both unit and integration tests, and develops automation tools for daily tasks
• Should be able to identify, categorize, parse out and articulate problems that occur in applications.
• Ensure smooth deployment and post-deployment support
• Provides effective updates and communicates status/roadblocks

Must - have technical skills and experience

• Knowledge of C#, Vb.

NET, MVC, .NET core 3.1 and RESTful Web API services

• Knowledge of Angular 8 & above, Jenkins & GitHub
• Ability to write effective unit, integration, and end-user automation tests
• Experience with database systems, with knowledge of Oracle, SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server)
• Excellent communication skills- verbal and written
• Excellent analytical skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical

Good to have skills

• Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines & Multithreading
• Good to have knowledge on SSRS package
• Angular 8 & above
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and processes
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as React / Angular / Vue etc.
• Ability to write effective unit, integration, and end-user automation tests
