- Collaborate withtooling designers and maintenance teams to optimize press toolingand fixtures.
- Implement andmaintain press shop safety protocols andprocedures.
- Monitor productionoutput and quality to achieve targets for productivity quality andontime delivery.
- Conduct root causeanalysis and implement corrective actions for pressrelatedissues.
- Lead initiatives toimprove Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reducedowntime.
- Implement Kaizenmethodologies to drive continuous improvement in press shopoperations.
- Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to resolve technical challenges and improveprocesses.
- Train and developpress operators on best practices and standard operating procedures(SOPs).
- Bachelor'sdegree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering orrelated field.
- 14 years ofexperience in a press shop environment within the sheet metalindustry.
- Salary: 2.5 to 3.5LPA
- Proficiency inreading and interpreting engineering drawings and press toolingdesigns.
- Handson experiencewith press machines tooling setups andtroubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge ofpress shop operations including blanking forming and stampingprocesses.
- Experience with presstooling design maintenance andoptimization.
- Understanding ofquality control principles and techniques in a manufacturingsetting.
- Proven ability todrive productivity improvements and cost savingsinitiatives.
- Excellentproblemsolving skills and attention todetail.
- Effectivecommunication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a teamenvironment
