    We are seeking a highly experienced Manager - Legal to join our team at Jai-Kisan. As a Legal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing legal matters related to financial institutions, including banks and NBFCs. If you possess a Bachelor of Law (LLB) or a Masters in Law and have 6-8 years of relevant experience, we invite you to apply for this challenging position.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Handle collections litigation, arbitration processes, and civil and criminal cases.
    • Draft and review Business Partnership agreements and Service agreements.
    • Demonstrate a strong business understanding to effectively support and align legal strategies with organizational goals
    • Collaborate with external legal counsels when necessary and maintain excellent coordination.
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of court matters and legal proceedings.
    • Collaborate closely with our collections team to drive outcome-oriented legal remedies.
    • Coordinate internally with Finance and collections teams to ensure effective legal support.
    • Draft suitable legal clauses in agreements to mitigate business risks.
    • Communicate effectively with business partners and their legal teams to ensure legal requirements are met.
    • Exhibit excellent drafting skills for legal documents.
    • Manage and lead a team of 6+ legal professionals, providing guidance and support as necessary.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor of Law (LLB) or Masters in Law (LLM) from a recognized institution.
    • 6-8 years of relevant legal experience in the financial industry, specifically with banks and NBFCs.
    • Strong business acumen.
    • Profound knowledge of civil and criminal laws.
    • Exceptional coordination skills with external legal counsels.
    • In-depth understanding of court proceedings.
    • Ability to effectively collaborate with collections teams.
    • Proven track record of delivering outcome-oriented legal remedies
