    Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Specialist

    We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Specialist with 7-9 years of experience, including at least 6 years in a core PMO role. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, exceptional analytical skills, and mandatory expertise in Power BI, financial reporting, and Advanced Excel. This role is critical for providing insightful data analysis, supporting project managers, and developing comprehensive portfolio reports. Excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with ambiguous data are key.

    This is a Work-from-Office (WFO) position in Hyderabad. Candidates are expected to be immediate to 15-day joiners. A Power BI skill test will be administered in the office post R1 interview.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide robust analytical support within the core PMO function, focusing on portfolio performance, trends, and anomalies in forecast and actuals data.
    • Prepare comprehensive multi-project reports and dashboards, leveraging Power BI for compelling visualizations and insights.
    • Manage exception reports and proactively follow up with individual project managers to ensure timely resolution of issues and variances.
    • Analyze complex data to identify trends, themes, and variances, supporting project managers in understanding deviations and taking appropriate countermeasures.
    • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial reports, demonstrating sound financial acumen and attention to detail.
    • Utilize Advanced Excel extensively for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
    • Contribute to a well-structured and organized PMO environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and managing ambiguity effectively.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams, fostering confidence through excellent verbal and written communication.

    Mandatory Qualifications

    • 7-9 years of total experience, with at least 6 years in a core PMO role.
    • Mandatory experience in Power BI, Financial Reporting, and Advanced Excel.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot patterns, trends, and anomalies in data.
    • Sound financial acumen and a keen eye for detail; must be good with numbers.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that inspire confidence in business stakeholders and the team.
    • Very well structured, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities.
    • Ability to rapidly understand ambiguous and complex concepts.
    • Flexibility to attend an in-office Power BI skill test in Hyderabad post the R1 interview.
    • Availability to join immediately or within 15 days.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, Finance, or Business Administration.
    • Good Power BI skills, including the ability to understand the Data Model and develop reports effectively.
    • Prior working knowledge of finance in past experiences.
    • Experience in performing detailed analysis and staying updated with trends.
    • (Note: This role is NOT for a Resource Manager or a Scrum Master).
