Job Summary
The role of a OMS Manager is a client-facing position that blends core consulting skills with specialized expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS) and related supply chain/omn-ichannel processes The primary responsibility is to analyze a clients business needs and translate them into functional solutions ensuring the effective implementation of OMS platforms like IBM Sterling Manhattan Active OmniResponsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Lead discovery sessions and conduct workshops with client stakeholders and subject matter experts SMEs to gather analyze and document complex business requirements
- Process Design Improvement: Perform gap analysis map as-is processes and design to-be process flows Recommend solutions to optimize operations especially concerning order orchestration inventory visibility fulfillment returns management
- Solution Liaison: Act as the critical interface between business users technical delivery teams developers architects testers ensuring requirements are clearly understood implemented according to the defined scope
- Documentation Deliverables: Prepare detailed business requirements documents BRDs functional requirements documents FRDs process flows user stories acceptance criteria
