    Our client is a leading global strategy consulting firm, and they are currently engaged in a sales transformation project for a major player in the decorative paints industry.


    The goal is to assist the client in achieving growth targets within the rapidly evolving decorative paints market, which is experiencing disruption due to the influx of new competitors.

    The project will center on leveraging traditional strategies to enhance market penetration, improve dealer engagement, foster influencer relationships, develop targeted marketing initiatives, and strengthen digital capabilities.


    To support with this initiative, they are looking to bring on board a seasoned Sales or Marketing with previous experience within the paints industry.

    Key responsibilities:


    • Collaborating with the client to devise and implement sales transformation strategies
    • Analyzing market trends and competitor landscapes to identify growth opportunities
    • Developing and executing plans to increase market reach and enhance dealer engagement
    • Crafting tailored marketing interventions to effectively target key consumer segments
    • Enhancing digital capabilities to align with industry trends and consumer preferences
    • Providing strategic guidance and support to ensure the project's success and alignment with the client's objectives
    Experience required:


    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Paints industry is required, either as a sales or marketing professional with roles like Regional Sales Manager (RSM) or higher, or with prior experience in the strategy division of a paints company. Alternatively, the client is open to considering strategy/management consultants with a minimum of 4 years of experience in executing projects within the paint industry
    • An undergraduate degree from a Tier 1 Institute or an MBA graduate from a Tier 1 Institute
    • Strong interpersonal and business communication skills
    This is a contractual opportunity with an initial 12-month contract. This project is based out of Mumbai, and the chosen consultant will be required to relocate to Mumbai for the entire duration of the project.
